7 Secretary’s report
Secretary reported on the year’s challenges such as V Park renovations, Widnes Team failing to provide a full team, Disciplinary matters, length of bowling season, closure of greens, early difficulties with the results input and webpage maintenance. Improvements had been made, with a new results database and webpage being introduced with great effect. Procedures at the presentation afternoon had been introduced to save time. Also noted that not all clubs had made raffle donations.
The secretary then briefly went through some of the proposal to be presented to the delegates and also informed the delegates of the 3-division set up for next year.
The Secretary then thanked various people who had given great assistance to him throughout the year.
There was discussion from delegates on the 3-division structure particularly the loss of income to be suffered by less games and also the promotion of two teams to the proposed A Division.
8 Auditor’s report
Auditor reported that the accounts were correct, and the treasurer was to be congratulated on the excellent state of the records.
9 Treasurer’s report
There were no matters arising from the report.
10 Competition Secretary’s report
Mr Ralston thanked all teams and competitors who had made it a successful season However there had been continuing problems with adherence to the dress code and this matter must be re-enforced by all teams next season.
11 Teams intending registration for 2020
There was one application from Padgate B to join the association and this was accepted unanimously.
Stockton Heath were now to be called Alexandria Park and St Elphin’s B had moved to Monks and were to be called Monks B. Similarly, Richmonds were now Grange C
