St Elphins Learner Bowlers

Brenda Newton has been organising lessons for bowlers completely new to Bowling.

1 hourly sessions are held at St Elphins Park every two weeks from 10am to 11am.

Currently Jim Nurse assists Brenda with the training but if possible Brenda would appreciate more help as there can be up to a dozen bowlers at the sessions.

If anyone could offer assistance please contact Brenda on 07307 857735.

GDPR

General Data Protection Regulation

The Association needs to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR] which took effect in the UK from 25th May 2018. It replaced the existing law on data protection i.e. the Data Protection Act of 1998 and gives individuals more rights and protection in how their personal data is used.

We have now produced a document which shows that the Association follows the updated regulations. The document can be viewed in the GPDR sub menu under the About Us menu.

All teams will also have a copy of the Policy sent to them by email for them to display. All bowlers should also be informed of the document for them to read if they wish.

One point to stress is that if any player does not want their personal data to be available then they can contact the Hon Secretary to inform him.
